We are pleased to share that Frankenmuth Insurance has earned a top 15 ranking in the CRASH Network’s 2025 Insurer Report Card. Out of 97 insurers, Frankenmuth Insurance was the 15th highest-rated auto insurer based on claims handling for motorists. Frankenmuth Insurance received an overall grade of “B” and an overall score of 871, which is significantly higher than the national average of 663.

The CRASH Network Insurer Report Card is a tool to help consumers make informed decisions about their choice of auto insurers. This annual report is developed by surveying more than 1,100 collision repair professionals nationwide and asking respondents to grade auto insurance companies they do business with, assigning grades from A+ to F, based on one question: How well does this company’s claims handling policies, attitude, and payment practices ensure quality repairs and customer service for motorists?
Drivers often have few tools to help them make informed decisions about their choice of auto insurance providers. That may lead some to choose based primarily on price (possibly without a true apples-to-apples comparison) or a company they’re aware of because it spends millions of dollars a year on advertising.
