What is telematics?

Telematics is a customizable fleet operations and safety program that can include GPS monitoring, data recording, and optional video monitoring with AI, driver coaching, and driver notifications. The telematics program can assist in decreasing accidents and improving driving behaviors that can lead to reduced insurance costs for policyholders.

Telematics program enhancements include:

• Cost-effective tools to help policyholders improve their fleet operations, reduce fuel costs, and improve driver behavior.
• Customizable alerts to notify policyholders immediately when dangerous driving behaviors are detected such as harsh braking, speeding, idling, and seatbelt use.
• Custom reports, data feeds, and scorecards that provide detailed information to help identify drivers that need additional coaching.
• Dedicated customer success manager to help identify and manage issues and opportunities.
