Providing relief for those impacted by recent storms in Kentucky.
We extend our heartfelt sympathies to those affected by the recent severe storms in Kentucky. Our top priority is supporting you, our policyholders, when you need us most.
In response to the storms and in accordance with guidance from the Kentucky Department of Insurance, we are pleased to offer the following relief options to impacted policyholders in Laurel, Pulaski, Russell, and Clay counties:
- No policy cancellations or non-renewals will be issued from May 16 through June 17, 2025, for non-payment of premium.
- Late payment fees will be suspended during this period.
- Any policies canceled for non-payment on or after May 16 have been automatically reinstated with no lapse in coverage.
Please note that this is not a waiver of payment, but rather a grace period to give impacted policyholders additional time to manage their accounts and maintain coverage.
Once the moratorium is lifted on June 17, 2025, our delinquency process for policies in a non-pay status will continue with the issuance of a cancellation pending due to non-payment notice, and late fees will resume if applicable.
For policyholders in other Kentucky counties not listed above, we’ll review situations on a case-by-case basis. If you’ve experienced storm-related hardship, please reach out to your independent insurance agent or contact our Billing Services team at 844-488-9777. We’re here to help.
