As a result of recent statute changes set forth by House Bill #278, we have revised our Minimum Financial Responsibility Amounts and updated our Ohio Amendatory Endorsement. These changes will become effective September 22, 2013 and they include the following:
Minimum Financial Responsibility Amount
The minimum limits have been revised per statute to $25,000/$50,000 Bodily Injury, $25,000 Property Damage or $75,000 Combined Single Liability. To comply with the new statute, we have removed limits of $15,000/$30,000 Bodily Injury, $10,000 Property Damage and $50,000 Combine Single Liability from our manual pages and systems. Any policyholders insured at the previous minimum financial responsibility amount, will see the change in the liability limit at their next renewal.
