On April 12, 2011, the Wisconsin legislature approved 2011 Wisconsin Act 14, which repealed 2009 Wisconsin Act 28. This action has resulted in the necessity for Frankenmuth Insurance to adopt ISO changes to forms and rules affecting Business Auto, Garage and Commercial Umbrella Policies.
With regard to Business Auto/Garage policies, altered terms letters will be sent to insureds where applicable. To view an example of this notice, please view the link below.
Medical payments (unless previously rejected) and uninsured motorists coverage will be required for hired and non-owned auto coverage. If medical payments were previously rejected, a new rejection form submission is necessary. To view the medical payments rejection form, please view the link below.
Commercial Umbrella policies will no longer include uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. As with Business Auto/Garage policies, applicable insureds will receive altered terms letters explaining this change.
As always, we thank you for your loyalty to Frankenmuth Insurance. Should you have additional questions regarding these actions, please contact your Commercial Underwriter or Field Manager.
