We are pleased to announce that Joseph (Joe) W. Ruch has been appointed vice president of Frankenmuth Surety.
Joe joined Frankenmuth Insurance in July 2019 as credit and risk senior director for Surety, bringing 30 years of experience in the construction industry and nearly 20 years in surety operations. In January 2020, he was named interim managing director of Frankenmuth Surety with oversight of sales, credit and risk, claims and surety operations.
Prior to joining the company, Joe served in a variety of leadership roles in the Surety business unit at Liberty Mutual Surety, including senior Surety manager, chief financial officer and manager of professional advisory services.
A graduate of Spring Garden College, Joe holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He also earned his Master of Business Administration in Finance from Temple University. Joe resides near Philadelphia with his wife, Trish.
