Thanks to the valuable feedback we’ve received from our agency partners since deploying our new iBIS Policy System, we continue to make enhancements to improve the usability of this system.
Several new enhancements – all of which are now available – include:
General adjustments to the entry process:
- Reduced number of entry fields required for quoting: Only the red asterisk and red bold fields will result in a non-binding premium. Also being introduced are blue bold entry fields that are required for full underwriting approval and/or issuance.
- Reduced number of tabs on the screen: This will help your agency find information in the iBIS Policy System much quicker and easier.
- Improvements to the address validation process: Once an address is validated on a new submission, it will not be validated again unless changes are made.
- Deactivation of agency notifications for all activities: Your agency may still receive email notifications for a specific account, however, you will no longer be directed to the Desktop Activities screen.
Loss History Screen Improvements:
- Three years of entry: New submissions entered effective Feb. 1, 2019, or later will have three years of entry generated on the screen. Once the carrier has been selected, it will populate the carrier name for the other two years.
Modifiers Screen:
- Ability to enter debits and credits: Your agency will now be able to enter debits and credits on the Modifiers Screen for New Submissions. For all other transactions, your agency will be able to view the Modifiers Screen.
Commercial Auto Screen Improvements:
- Checkboxes for the applicable auto exposure: For submissions entered on Oct. 15, 2018, or later, checkboxes will be provided on the Qualifications Screen to streamline the entry for Commercial Auto.
Commercial – Property Screen Improvements:
- Automatically generated building class codes: Simply enter the class code description on the Building Information Screen, and the building class code will automatically be generated.
- Simplification of building coverages: Significant changes were made to the Commercial Property Building screen to make it easier to enter building coverages.
- Occupancy Screen requirement: The Occupancy screen is no longer needed for single risk scenarios, however, for multiple risks situations, the Occupancy screen will still be required.
We feel these enhancements will improve the overall efficiency when quoting and issuing commercial business and thank you for your continued feedback on the new system. We remain committed to delivering an exceptional experience to our agency partners.
