Renewal reports get mailed to our agency partners two months prior to the renewals, and they include a great deal of useful information. For auto, they have information such as whether the renewal is for a six month or annual policy, bodily injury limits and the number of vehicles on the policy. For home, it includes their renewal Coverage A or C amount, their group and different deductible options. Both the home and auto reports show if they are receiving the multi-policy discount, their loss history info and their current insurance score discount.
If you come across a renewal where the insured isn’t getting the highest insurance score discount, you can run an updated insurance score. Doing so is really very easy!
Step 1- Go to the Utilities section on our website and click on Insurance Score.
Step 2 – Fill out info requested (including name, date of birth and address).
Step 3 – Endorse the policy in iBIS with a Miscellaneous Policy Change on the General Information page. Make sure to include the confirmation number.
We only give higher discounts so no need to worry about lower scores, just don’t endorse the policy.
What’s the best way you’ve found to work your renewal report?
