One of Michigan’s largest winter festivals kicks off in downtown Frankenmuth this week as Zehnder’s Snowfest 2013 thrills the Great Lakes Bay Region once again.  Zehnder’s Snowfest continues to be recognized as one of the top snow sculpting events in North America.  Visitors have enjoyed larger-than-life snow sculptures and beautifully detailed ice carvings each year.  This year’s event runs from Wednesday, Jan. 23rd through Monday, Jan. 28th. 

In addition to the amazing snow and ice sculptures, entertainment for the entire family will be held in the warming tent.  A fireworks display, petting zoo and several children’s activities will also be a part of this year’s festival.
