In anticipation of our forthcoming Multi-variate rate application (effective 12-1-11) Frankenmuth Insurance is rolling out a series of discount modifications affecting base rates among all vehicle types.  Each of the following alterations will be effective Sept. 1, 2011.  The net effect of these changes is a 4.6% rate increase and an overall reduction in discounts.

Specifically, discounts have been adjusted with regard to the following:

·         Passive Restraints

·         Superior Risk

·         Auto Theft

·         Anti-lock Brake System (ABS)

·         Multi-policy Discount

·         Insurance Score 

It is important you also be aware adjustments have also been made regarding:

·         Vehicle Age Relativities

·         Symbol Relativities

·         PIP Limit factors

To verify specific changes to the aforementioned adjustments, please check the Rule & Rate Guide located within Agency Services.  Also, please be advised, we are continuing to monitor the renewal premium cap and make changes as necessary.
