As you are certainly aware, our 2012 goal was to significantly improve the company’s personal lines results.  Through July, I am pleased to report we have experienced some improvement.  We realize 2012 has been difficult and disruptive for your office.  We appreciate your continued support and loyalty through this difficult time.  It reflects a lot of future promise relating to what we can achieve together. 

Our plan is to be disciplined with our business approach all in an effort to have continued improvement in our results.  The marketplace continues to evolve and we need to keep pace with our product and pricing, therefore we are making the following changes:

Two Frankenmuth Insureds

Effective 10/1/2012, The Collision deductible will no longer be waived for losses involving two Frankenmuth insureds.  This revised language can be found on Form #02560 Amendatory Endorsement Personal Auto Policy–Ohio.  A Notice to Policyholder will be sent for this change. 

Other Than Collision (Comprehensive) Deductible Waiver for Animal Impacts

Effective 9/1/12, we will no longer be waiving the Other Than Collision deductible when the loss involves an animal impact.  This includes collision losses involving deer.   This action is necessary due to the increased frequency we are experiencing with this type of loss.
