As a result of the increasing threat posed by Hurricane Dorian, as well as the uncertain path of the storm during the upcoming holiday weekend, we are suspending binding authority in Florida, effective immediately on Aug. 29, 2019. The complete list of states currently under this binding authority suspension include:

• Alabama

• Florida

• Georgia

• North Carolina

• South Carolina

This binding authority suspension will remain in effect until further notice and applies to new business as well as increases in limits or additions of coverage on in-force policies. Home Office approval is required to override the suspension. We will continue to monitor the situation and inform you when the suspension is no longer in effect.
