As a result of the threat posed by Tropical Storm Idalia, Frankenmuth Insurance is suspending binding authority in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as of 8 a.m. EST on Monday, August 28, 2023. Tropical Storm Idalia is expected to become a hurricane later today and possibly strengthen before landfall on Wednesday morning in Florida.

This binding authority suspension will remain in effect until further notice and applies to new business as well as increases in limits or additions of coverage on in-force policies.

Home office approval is required to override the suspension. We will continue to monitor the situation and inform you when the suspension is no longer in effect.
