As a result of the increasing threat posed by Tropical Cyclone Isaias, which is expected to grow stronger as it moves through the Atlantic, Frankenmuth Insurance is suspending binding authority in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia as of 5 p.m. Eastern Time on Friday, July 31.
At this time, this suspension applies to Property, Inland Marine and Commercial Auto.
This binding authority suspension will remain in effect until further notice and applies to new business as well as increases in limits or additions of coverage on in-force policies.
Home Office approval is required to override the suspension. We will continue to monitor the situation and inform you when the suspension is no longer in effect. Please contact your field manager or underwriter with any questions regarding this binding authority suspension.
