During the past several weeks, we’ve been highlighting our new Cyber Plus product, which will be available for new and renewal business on March 1, 2014.  Cyber Plus from Frankenmuth Insurance far exceeds coverages presently available on the standard market.

What makes our Cyber Plus product different?

It provides eight (8) “must have” coverages for doing business in today’s electronic and privacy age.

•       Extends Personal Injury coverage to insured’s website and social media
•       Provides the insured with defense and settlement if suit is brought stemming from a data breach/privacy event 
•       Defends the insured and pays fines (when allowed by law) for violation of privacy acts
•       Data Compromise coverage includes expense reimbursement for notification, credit monitoring, crisis management and legal / forensic services 
•       Pays to recreate, replace, or restore data and software programs 
•       Reimburses insured for loss of income due to loss of service of insured’s computer system 
•       Coverage for cyber extortion money paid and expenses 
•       Coverage for loss of income and expenses stemming from a cyber-terrorism loss 
•        Identity theft services for key employees
