Frankenmuth Insurance is announcing changes to our Ohio personal auto program.

The following rate adjustments have been made:

• Base rates for all coverages have been adjusted.
• The advance quote discount has been reduced from 12% to 9%.

Although individual policyholders’ results will vary, the overall rate impact for the Ohio personal auto program is 9.9%.

Effective Dates

This rate change is effective August 1, 2023.

In addition to the rate change, we will no longer offer 6-month personal auto policies when we move to our new system. Moving forward, please make sure all new business personal auto policies are on a 12-month term.

Your Personal Lines underwriter will be reaching out to you with a list of current in-force 6-month auto policies that should be moved to a 12-month term by their next renewal.
