The Midwest region is pleased to announce a change to our Wisconsin field management team. After serving four years as your Commercial Lines Field Manager, Adam Abler has been promoted to Commercial Lines Product Management and Corporate Underwriting Manager for Frankenmuth Insurance, effective July 1, 2022.

In his new role, Adam will be responsible for implementing a company-wide small business initiative with a special focus on product and class enhancements and an external rules engine to drive ease of doing business and speed to market. This is a critical role in our company’s journey to become an improved small commercial player and to direct more growth, profit, and efficiency into Commercial Lines.

Adam is a graduate of St. Norbert College, in De Pere, Wisconsin, with a degree in communications and marketing, and he has his Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation. Prior to joining Frankenmuth Insurance, Adam held positions in Claims, Underwriting, Marketing, and Sales, and gained experience leading a team of underwriters and marketers in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He and his family live in Green Bay and are avid Packers fans.

Succeeding Adam in his role as the new Commercial Lines Field Manager in Wisconsin is Dave Usadel. Effective immediately, Dave will be managing our Wisconsin agency territory from his home in Plymouth, Wisconsin, also known as the “Cheese Capital of the World.”

Dave is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin ─ go Badgers! ─ and comes to Frankenmuth Insurance with nearly 20 years of industry experience. He has held positions in Commercial Claims, Underwriting, and Sales with multiple carriers and has experience with two large regional agencies. Most recently, he was a Business Development Manager for AVID Risk Solutions, a large Wisconsin independent agency.
