Frankenmuth Insurance, in partnership with health services provider, Medcor, is pleased to announce that we will soon be offering an injury triage service for workers compensation commercial policyholders.

The injury triage service offers medical support for non-life-threatening injuries. Employees and supervisors harmed on the job can call the injury triage line to talk with a medical professional instead of visiting a hospital and incurring costs. There are multiple benefits to the program that provide better health outcomes such as, immediate reporting for all injuries, reduced claim frequency and decreased emergency room visits.

Frankenmuth Insurance offers this service free of charge for workers compensation policyholders. These policyholders will receive a mailing regarding the new service including an informational flyer in the coming weeks. Policyholders can also download additional informational flyers for use within their workplace by visiting fmins.com > Claims > Workers Comp – Forms. After selecting their state, they can find the file titled “Nurse Triage Flyer.”
