Frankenmuth Insurance is pleased to announce a new personal auto coverage form for vehicles jointly owned. Effective May 1, 2017, we are making the Joint Ownership form, PP 03 34 (01-05), available for policyholders that will cover two or more resident individuals who jointly own a vehicle. The vehicle must be titled and registered in both names in order for the policyholders to be listed as the Named Insured on the policy.

To better assist you with the use of the new form, we have inserted a new rule explaining its usage and application in the Ohio Auto General Rules Section of the manual. Additionally, the Personal Auto Policy Eligibility section is updated referring to jointly owned vehicles. If you have any questions regarding the new form and rule, please do not hesitate to contact your underwriter.

We are also excited to announce additional changes which will make it easier to do business with us. Two adjustments have been made to our OH Personal Lines Agency Binding Authority Levels, including:

Increase of Coverage A limit from $750,000 to $1 million on Homeowner Forms 3, 8, & 9.

Increase of Liability limit from $300,000 to $500,000 on Dwelling Fire Policies

We trust your front-line underwriting and these enhanced limits will assist you in binding coverage on risks which will produce future profitable results.

Please do not hesitate to contact your field manager or underwriter if you have any questions. Thank you for thinking of Frankenmuth Insurance on all your new business.
