As part of our continued efforts to improve our book of business, we are implementing a change to the pay plan requirements on new business. This change relates primarily to low insurance score and new business risks with no prior insurance coverage.
On September 19, 2013, changes will be reflected in the iBIS system prompting you to select one of the following payment options when quoting or submitting a new home or auto application:
1) Full term
2) Annual recurring credit card
3) Mortgagee bill
The pay plan requirement will apply in the following scenarios:
1. For new home policies when “None-Never had Previous Insurance” is selected for the prior carrier, unless it is indicated the home is a new purchase.
2. For auto new business, if the Prior Carrier option selected is “New Purchase,” “Never had Prior Insurance” or “Did Not Drive or Move Vehicle.”
3. For either home or auto with the following insurance scores:
a. All insurance scores UNDER 599 (discount codes 101-104)
b. Insurance scores BETWEEN 599 and 647 (discount codes 105-110) with a negative pay
history code
