One of the methods we use to promote our insurance products is co-op advertising in association with you, our Agency partners.  And, while our co-op advertising program is continually evolving, we often receive questions about what does, or does not, qualify for co-op support.  To that end, the Marketing Department has established the following guidelines for your consideration in submitting co-op requests:

Approved co-op advertising items include:

·         Print (newspaper, magazine, trade publication, association newsletter)

·         Electronic (radio, television)

·         Billboards

In each of these visual mediums, the Frankenmuth Insurance logo must be included with some prominence.  Radio and television ad scripts must include mention of Frankenmuth Insurance.  All ads must be approved by the Marketing Department prior to release.

Co-op support will not be considered for Yellow Pages (phone book) or web (pay per click) advertising.

Finally, our practice with regard to reimbursement is sharing costs up to 50% of an approved amount for your marketing/advertising project.   Check with your Field Manager to determine the amount of your agency’s annual co-op support.

As always, should you have any questions, comments or concerns, don’t hesitate to contact me in Frankenmuth’s Marketing Department at extension 2474.
