Since implementing the Cancellation Upload feature in iBIS last month, agency utilization has been very successful.

One point of clarification for Commercial Lines only, a signed cancellation request or policy release form must be sent to the company if one is not attached with the iBIS Cancellation submission.  This processing requirement is documented in the File Guidelines option in the Resource tab in iBIS.

The most efficient way to include a signed cancellation request or policy release form is to use the File Attachment feature right on the iBIS Cancellation Information Screen.  You may also elect to send this signed form via email, fax or regular mail.
