Baseball season is under way and the “Boys of Summer” are back in action but what about the “Toys of Summer?” Frankenmuth offers coverage for watercraft, sport vehicles and golf carts.
Watercraft
· Outboard boats (including canoes, kayaks, wind surf boards, etc.)
o The policy provides automatic liability coverage for outboard boats and sailboats under 26’
o For physical damage schedule the boat and motor separately
· Inboard/outboard boats, inboard boats, personal watercraft and jet boats
o Endorse the policy to cover the liability and physical damage
· Vessels more than 26’ in length and valued greater than $30,000 must be written in the Marine Program (yacht policy) – quotes available in iBIS, further assistance is available from Chris VanTol at Ex. 4275
Sport vehicles
· In iBIS, simply go to the Sport Vehicle screen, select Add Vehicle, then select the appropriate vehicle type in the drop down menu to schedule the physical damage
· The policy provides liability coverage while on the residence premises
· For those using their sport vehicles off premises add the Sport Vehicle Blanket Liability to cover all your sport vehicles
Golf carts
· The policy provides liability coverage while on the residence premises or on a golf course
· The Extra Protection endorsement expands the coverage while being driven to and from the golf course, off public roads
· For your clients who use their golf cart to travel around a campground or other residential community, add the Owned Motorized Golf Cart Coverage for liability and/or physical damage
To add a boat, sport vehicle, golf cart or the sport vehicle blanket liability to a policy, go to the Sport Vehicle/Boat screen in iBIS and select the appropriate vehicle type (Sport Vehicle Blanket Liability is included in this list as a vehicle type).
