Many of our Policyholders want to do their part to help save our planet’s natural resources by “Going Green,” and now they can with Frankenmuth Insurance!  Simply answer yes to the e-Delivery question in iBIS and enter a valid Policyholder e-mail address.  Existing Personal Lines customers can also request to “Go Green” through the Policyholders option on our web site (fminsdev.wpengine.com).

Once a Policyholder requests e-Delivery, he or she will need to activate their policy.  This important step ensures we maintain proper security of their information.  For new business and endorsements in iBIS, a “Printable e-Delivery Information” document is available to help the Policyholder complete the activation.  Existing Policyholders may also obtain the activation information from their dec page or by contacting their agent.  If the activation process is not completed within 30 days, paper dec pages will automatically be turned back on.

Policyholders are notified via e-mail when policy transactions are available to view online.  They are also reminded to print their Certificates of Insurance to place in their vehicles as these documents will no longer be mailed.

For agency notification, an e-Delivery indicator is available in the Policy Transaction Report and Policy Inquiry.  The Policy Notification Report will make you aware of any e-mail reminders that are sent to the Policyholder.
