Dear Agency Partners:

It is with heavy hearts we share the news that Darcy Wellman, our Life Operations Coordinator and friend, passed away on April 15, 2023, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

Darcy had 10 years of service to Patriot Life Insurance Company and joined our team on March 25, 2013. Darcy enjoyed working with our agency partners to ensure quick approval and customer satisfaction. Darcy was a key participant in all of our process designs and changes ─ always championing the agent’s view for ease of doing business and fast results. Those that knew her will remember her for her caring and compassionate nature, her wit, and her bright smile. We will miss our friend and colleague.

Personally, Darcy loved spending time with her family, boating on the bay, and visiting Tawas, Michigan. We are deeply saddened by this loss but rejoice to know her final wish to see her son, Gabriel, graduate high school came true before her passing. Our prayers remain with Darcy’s husband, Patrick, two sons, Ryan and Gabriel, family, friends, and loved ones, as they mourn during this difficult time.
