We are pleased to announce that John Mauthe joined Frankenmuth Insurance as the Personal Lines Marine Business Manager, where he will lead the yacht and watercraft lines of business.   

John comes to us with more than 34 years of insurance industry experience. Most recently, John was with B&A Insurance Solutions, where he served as the Brokerage Sales Manager the past four years. Prior to this role, John was the Specialty Underwriting Director and Commercial Underwriting Manager at Secura Insurance between 2003 and 2015. 

A graduate of St. Norbert College, John holds a Bachelor of Psychology. He resides in DeForest, WI with his wife and two daughters (ages 28 and 25). In his spare time, he enjoys sailing and exercising. Later this year, he’ll be participating in a ½ Iron Man Triathlon in Indiana. 

With John’s extensive underwriting, field, agency management and product development experience, he will be a strong asset to our team by leading Marine and assisting our agency partners with growing profitably in this line of business.
