Our Michigan and Ohio Personal Lines Advisory Committees are designed to provide frank input on ways Frankenmuth Insurance can improve its Personal Lines product.  As a company, we remain committed to making changes that not only help us grow profitably, but also aid our agency partners in their efforts to grow.

As a result of the feedback we’ve received from these committees, Frankenmuth Insurance is introducing a new form to be used with HO-4 (Renters) and HO-6 (Condominiums) policies. Effective October 1, 2017, this form — (HO 04 10) Additional Interest Residence Premises — will allow parties who have an additional interest (i.e. apartment complex/management company) to be listed on the policy.

While it does not provide additional coverage, the Additional Interest Residences Premises form requires Frankenmuth Insurance to give the listed parties notice when coverage is effective, cancelled, or non-renewed. We believe this new endorsement to our Home program will enable you to write and retain more HO-4 and HO-6 business with us.

If you have any questions or need further clarification on the above change, please contact your Underwriter or Personal Lines Field Manager.

Thanks for all your support.
