If someone is injured in a motor vehicle accident and needs to seek medical treatment, there will be medical bills associated with this treatment.  If the billing department did not have the auto insurance billing information on file when the statement was generated, our insured may receive the invoice. 

The best thing for an insured to do if they receive an invoice is to forward the invoice to the handling adjuster. 

This can be done in a variety of ways.  It can be faxed or emailed directly to the adjuster or they can forward it to their agent who can then forward it to the handling adjuster.  The sooner we have knowledge that there is a billing issue, the sooner we can make every effort to correct it.  If the insured has any questions, the adjuster is always there to help in any way they can.
