Automatic Personal Umbrella Quote in iBIS

Another cross sell opportunity available in iBIS!  Beginning on 2/22/2011, iBIS will automatically provide a $1 million Personal Umbrella premium on certain Personal Lines quote situations.

How does this enhancement work?

With this enhancement, the premium for a $1 million Personal Umbrella policy will automatically be generated and display in a separate section on the Quote Summary Screen.  The automatic quote will be made available based on various Underwriting criteria when selecting the Prepare for Submission option.  To add the Personal Umbrella to the account you are submitting, simply click on the “Add Personal Umbrella Liability” button.  This will carry forward as much information as possible to the Umbrella entry screens and require your agency to provide any additional information that may be needed to complete the issuance process.

This enhancement provides a quick and easy way for your agency to cross sell Personal Umbrella policies when submitting other Personal Lines policies in iBIS.  If you have any questions, please contact eBusiness Support at 1-800-234-1133 extension 3000.
