On June 26, 2013, a new enhancement will be available in iBIS allowing the Security Administrator at your agency to create an E-mail notification for the Pending Cancel Report and new business default settings for certain commonly used coverages, limits and deductibles.

How will this new feature work?

Once the security administrator logs into iBIS, they will hover over the Administration tab, select Security Management and then the Agency Settings option.  Expand the information for your agency by clicking on the plus sign icon next to your agency code to see the new E-mail Notifications and Default Settings options.  The options selected by your agency security administrator is viewable to everyone in the agency by hovering over the Administration tab, selecting My Settings, then Agency Profile and clicking on the plus sign icon next to your agency code to expand the information for your agency.

The E-mail Notifications option will send an E-mail to the Commercial or Personal Lines contact listed for your agency when a Pending Cancel Report is available in iBIS.  For the Default Settings option, various lines of business will be displayed.  Simply click the plus sign icon to expand each line of business and select the coverage, deductible and limit options available for default.  Going forward, if one of the default setting options is impacted due to a future project, an E-mail will be sent to the Commercial or Personal Lines contact listed for your agency.

Please note – the Default Settings are available to provide your agency with data entry efficiencies for New Business quotes initiated in iBIS.  These optional default settings should be based on your agency’s commonly requested limit, deductible, and coverage options as we do not advise the appropriateness of the option selected.  Other limits can still be selected in iBIS even if default settings have been created.

We hope the Default Settings feature will provide your agency operation with additional data entry efficiencies when initiating new quotes in iBIS.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact eBusiness Support at 1-800-234-1133 extension 3000.
