The Illinois Department of Insurance recently released a bulletin outlining its requirements for notifying policyholders and potential policyholders about our company’s compliance with the civil union law that became effective 6/1/2011 in the state. Frankenmuth Insurance filed its form revisions prior to this bulletin, and we were approved to begin using the new versions effective 12/1/2011.
