To ALL OUR AGENTS: 

Changes are being introduced in iBIS that allow multiple state Business Auto accounts to be quoted and issued on a single policy!   The account must be effective 9/1/2011 or greater!

How does this enhancement work?

1. On the Business Auto Policy Information Screen, your agency license states will be listed.  Simply select the states that are applicable to the Business Auto policy you’re writing.  For single state agencies, the state selection will be defaulted.
   
2. The applicable states chosen will appear in the Garaging Location State field on the Business Auto Vehicle Screen.  Entry for vehicle information remains the same, the only change is to select the applicable Garaging Location State.  For single state policies, the Garaging Location State will be defaulted from the agency license state selected on the Business Auto Information Screen.
   
3. On the Business Auto Optional Coverages Screen, the applicable states chosen for the policy will need to be selected for certain optional coverages.  Policy level optional coverages will not require an applicable state to be selected.

This enhancement eliminates the need to enter multiple Business Auto policies on multiple state accounts.  Take advantage of the entry efficiencies on your next multi-state Business Auto account.
