Payment Plans
We constructed our premium payment program on two basic premises - flexibility and convenience. The
result is our Freedom Payment Plan, a program that gives each policyholder the "freedom" to
personalize his or her payment schedule. To follow are explanations of the many options available
to Frankenmuth Insurance policyholders.
Money Saving Tip we highly recommend: Avoid installment charges by paying your account
in full or by choosing an EFT option.
Payment Options
Our Freedom Payment Plan offers four payment options...
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Semi-Annual
- Full Term
A service charge applies to monthly, quarterly and semi-annual installment options. Service
charges can be avoided by paying in full or enrolling in our Electronic Funds Transfer program
(see below).
Billing Options
Customers may choose from two billing options...
- Single Policy Billing
- Combined Policy Billing
Single Policy Billing means you receive a bill for each policy placed with us. Combined Policy
Billing involves only one bill for multiple policies. In other words, if we provide your auto
and home insurance, you can receive one bill reflecting the premium due for both policies.
One bill means one due date and one payment transaction.
Payment Methods
To maximize flexibility, we accept three methods of payment...
- Check or Money Order
- Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
- Credit Card
- Online Payment
Of the three, EFT may be the most convenient. With EFT, premium payments are withdrawn
automatically from the checking or savings account of your choice. You may choose any of the
payment options above and even select the date of withdrawal when paying monthly. You'll receive
a withdrawal schedule in advance and all installment fees will be waived.
